Individual therapy is a collaborative process designed to help you navigate specific challenges such as trauma, grief, or anxiety. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or simply want to understand yourself better, therapy offers a safe space to regain perspective and build resilience.

Confidentiality is a cornerstone of my practice. All sessions and client records are protected by strict privacy laws and professional ethics. Information is never shared without your written consent, except in specific legal or safety situations which we discuss at the start.

My fee is $150 per 50-minute session for individual psychotherapy. Many extended health benefit plans include coverage for therapy and if covered, the amount of coverage varies depending on the plan. It is your responsibility to check your coverage prior to booking your first session to ensure you have coverage for services offered by a Registered Psychotherapist. Psychotherapy is not currently covered by OHIP.

Direct billing is available for clients who access my services through Woodstock Chiropractic and Health only. ​ Although most benefits plans are included in our direct billing options, some are not, and payment is due at the time of your session. If we can not process your payment through direct billing you can complete your payment by debit, credit or e-tranfser and I can provide you with an electronic receipt for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

If you need to reschedule your appointment you can log in to your Jane account to reschedule or you can reach out to me directly by phone or email. Your appointment time is reserved for you and I require (at least) 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. This allows me to offer the opening to another individual who may need support. Sessions that are missed without notice or not rescheduled/cancelled with greater than 24 hours notice will be subject to the full session fee. Extenuating circumstances may be taken into consideration on a case by case basis.

No. You generally do not need a referral from your doctor to access psychological services. Your insurance company may need a referral from your family doctor if the cost of therapy is being covered by insurance.

Yes, there is some flexibility. I offer daytime and limited evening appointments to accommodate shift work schedules.

We utilize a secure tele-health platform to ensure your privacy and data security. You will receive a unique link via email before each session, allowing you to connect from any private space with a stable internet connection.
